Missy McCormick works as the graduate research assistant for the North Texas Community College Consortium.
Missy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Science degree in Family Studies from Texas Woman's University, and is currently pursuing her Ed.D. in Higher Education at the University of North Texas.
Missy has experience working in the Chemistry and Physics Department and Office of Undergraduate Studies at Texas Woman's University and in the College of Information, Department of World Languages in the College of Arts and Sciences, and in the Career Center at the University of North Texas.
Missy's research interests include student success and retention of first generation and low socioeconomic students, campus climate support for LGBTQIA faculty, staff, and students, and higher education administration.
Missy McCormick joined the North Texas Community College Consortium staff in August 2015.
