4th Annual TCC Global Citizenship Conference

Building Sustainable Futures through Global Education

Tarrant County College and the North Texas Community College Consortium invite concurrent session proposals for the fourth annual conference designed to build global citizenship in college and university settings. This year’s theme, Building Sustainable Futures through Global Education, challenges participants and presenters to explore how connecting resources, ideas and opportunities promotes global citizenship and propels us into the future.

This year’s conference features tracks in the following areas:

  • Building Curricula to Enhance Global Education and Citizenship
  • Exploring Global Issues at Home and the Classroom (topics may include the impact of terrorism on globalism)
  • Pragmatic Approaches to Building and Sustaining Global Competence (suggested topics include funding resources, grant writing, and working with recruiters and tour providers, international student recruitment, and faculty mobility)
  • Best Practices and Innovation Models in Global Mobility (risk management, study abroad, service learning and civic engagement, collaborative study abroad)
