Richland College implemented a survey tool to gather student data at the beginning of enrollment in General Chemistry in the areas of life circumstances, academic preparedness, and academic behaviors in order to provide appropriate resources to support each student’s needs. In this session, survey results, including a small set of distinct patterns identified after cluster analysis of the dataset, will be shared as well as planned modifications of the survey for future cohorts.
